What are NovaLash Lash Extension?

NovaLash Lash extensions are individual tapered, synthetic lashes that are applied to each natural eyelash one at a time.  They are not decades-old, traditional false lashes.

Why should I get Lash Extensions?

No mascara is needed.  Your lashes remain full and beautiful in the rain, sun, surf, clubs and more.  NovaLash Lash Extensions can be worn daily, without nightly removal, providing difficult to detect effortless glamour.

How long do your Lash Extensions last?

Our extensions last on average from four to six weeks.

Will I need Lash Extension refills?

Yes, your natural lashes have about a four to six week lifecycle, and as you shed and grow new lashes, extensions will need to be reapplied.  To maintain the full, thick appearance of a new set of lashes we recommend getting a touch up every four weeks.

Can Mascara be used with Lash Extensions?

Typically mascara is not needed, and if used can actually shorten the lifespan of our Lash Extensions. If you do decide to use mascara please make sure you use glycol and carbonate free product.

What is the best way to take care of my  new NovaLash Lashes?

Nightly conditioning is recommended to maximize the life of the extensions. Professional after care kits are available in our studio.

Do I need to take a break from extensions?

No. As long as the application was done correctly, no need to take a break from having the extensions.

How do I take care of my extensions?

Generally speaking, we recommend washing lashes everyday. In addition, follow the “aftercare” instructions from the products it was used.

Can I perm my lashes and get extensions at the same time?

No. We can not apply extensions on top of permed lashes. Please wait 8 weeks to get the extensions once you permed lashes.

How often people get allergic reactions?

Very rare. You may get chemical reaction from the adhesive or other products it was used during the service which cause minor irritation on your eyes for a couple of days. Typical allergic reactions are similar to seasonal allergies such as itchy eyes, swollen eyelids, sneezing and tearing.

Can I use the lash serum when I have extensions?

Yes, however, do not use the serum 24 hours prior to your appointment. It is important to come in with the clean lashes for the best retention.

What is the difference between “perm” and “lift”?

There are different curling rods. Perm rods seem to have softer curve and lift rods seem to have “L” shape curve. Typically, the processing solution is the same.

Do I have to get a full set as my first appointment?

Not at Lash Club. We recommend 60min partial set if it is your first time getting lash extensions.

Do you refill foreign lashes?

Yes, we can fill on top of existing lashes. Current lashes removal is not required.

Do I have to remove extensions when I decide not to refill?

No. We have natural lash growth cycle. Extensions will fall off along with your natural lashes. If you are experiencing allegic reaction or feeling uncomfortable, you may schedule for a removal.

What is the difference between Classic, Hybrid, Volume and Mega Volume?

It is categorized depending on how many extension(s) will be applied on top of 1 natural lash. Classic is 1 extension on top of 1 natural lash. Volume is multiple (3-6), Mega Volume is multiple (7-15) and Hybrid is 50/50 mix of Classic and Volume application.
